Who added the most at Thomann since August? Fender, with 114 new models

In eleven weeks, 1,266 new models joined Thomann's catalog, not counting bundles, B-stock and old listings that came back. Almost two thirds were guitars and basses, more than half arrived in October, and one brand added more than the next one by a third.

We read Thomann's whole catalog every night, so we see every product the day it first appears. Between August 18 and November 3, 2026, 1,266 new models joined: products with new article numbers, without bundles and B-stock. Another 527 older listings came back into stock in the same weeks, and we leave those out.

The pace picked up toward the end of the year: 153 new models in the second half of August, 429 in September, 659 in October and 25 in the first three days of November.

What it means for a buyer

New models rarely get discounted in their first months. Of the 1,266, 1,171 are still in stock. If you want this year's version, buy it when you need it; if last year's model does the job, the previous generation is where the price drops happen. Our weekly price reports cover those.

Where the numbers come from. Thomann's partner feed, which we read every night. A product counts as a new model when it first appears in the feed after August 17, 2026, with an article number above 645,000; lower numbers are older listings back in stock. Bundles, sets and B-stock are left out. Prices are Thomann's US-dollar prices on November 3.
