On October 21, 24 PRS Tekton guitars appeared in Thomann's catalog at once. We had not seen the model there before. Thomann files it with its ST-style guitars, and it costs $3,360 (€2,999) or $3,472 (€3,099), depending on the version.
Four versions, six finishes each
| Version | What is different | Price at Thomann |
|---|---|---|
| Tekton | Hardtail bridge | $3,360 (€2,999) |
| Tekton T | PRS 2-point tremolo with brass saddles | $3,360 (€2,999) |
| Tekton SVN | 7 strings, 26.5" scale | $3,472 (€3,099) |
| Tekton Floyd | Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo, alder body | $3,472 (€3,099) |
The hardtail, the T and the SVN share a mahogany body with a mango top and come in Slate Blue, Imperial Topaz, Black Tourmaline, Bloodstone Red, Fuchsia Aura and Violet Tourmaline. The Floyd has an alder body and louder finishes: Pearl Black, Purple Royale, Neon Green, White Holoflake, Multi-Metal-Flake and Hot Pink.
What they share
All four have a maple neck with a Modern "D" profile, an ebony fingerboard with offset dots and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. Two PRS Stylus humbuckers sit under one volume and a push/pull tone control with a 3-way blade switch, and the hardware is smoked black. Scale length is 25.5" on the six-strings.
PRS Tekton, $3,357
The plain hardtail version. #494 of 633 ST style guitars.
PRS Tekton SVN, $3,469
The 7-string, with Stylus SVN humbuckers and a 26.5" scale for the low B. #434 of 633 ST style guitars.
PRS Tekton Floyd, $3,469
The only Tekton with a locking Floyd Rose 1000 vibrato, and the only one without locking tuners: the nut locks the strings instead. #494 of 633 ST style guitars.
Elsewhere at PRS this week
Three PRS core guitars got €300 cheaper on October 20: the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II in two finishes and a Custom 24 Floyd 10 Top, all now $5,601 (€4,999). Nine PRS listings left the catalog, among them a Custom 24 Piezo and two McCarty SC56 models.
Where the numbers come from. Thomann's partner feed, which we read every night. "Appeared" means the listing was not in the feed before October 21, 2026. Specifications are from Thomann's product descriptions, prices are in euros converted at the European Central Bank rate, and cards show today's price and rank.
