Subwoofers

Use a phase alignment tool or software plugin to verify the subwoofer’s output relative to your monitors. Adjust the subwoofer’s polarity switch until the bass response is most coherent and defined.

Sealed enclosures generally offer tighter, more controlled bass, while vented enclosures provide greater low-frequency extension and output but may be less precise.

Adequate amplifier power ensures the subwoofer can reproduce low frequencies accurately and without distortion, especially at higher listening levels.
