Between September 30 and October 23, 2026, Ibanez cut 85 prices at Thomann and raised none. 68 of the cuts were real ones, a new low since August after at least 14 days at the old price, and that is more real cuts than any other brand made. The other 17 were prices that had held only a few days.
Most cuts were small, with a median of 2%, and they cover every kind of Ibanez: 29 electric guitars, 22 basses, 20 acoustic guitars, 6 semi-acoustics and 4 seven-strings, plus a few pedals. Of the 729 Ibanez listings we have tracked since August 17, 181 are cheaper now and only 2 more expensive.

The cheap end moved too
The GRG170DX, one of the cheapest Ibanez electrics, slipped from €259 to €254, and its bundles fell by similar amounts. Small cuts like these happened all over the Gio range and on SR basses, by 1 to 6%.

Not in the usual sense. The cuts came on 15 different days and most were small. It looks like Ibanez prices drifting down rather than a promotion with an end date.

In money, the AZ2204NW Prestige; in percent, the AJ54E acoustic. For a first electric guitar, the GRG170DX is at its lowest since August.
