Questions
What's the difference between isolated and non-isolated power supplies?
Isolated power supplies have separate transformers for each output, preventing noise bleed. Non-isolated ones share a single transformer, which is cheaper but more prone to noise issues. For a full board, isolated is almost always worth the extra cost.
My power supply says 'center negative'. Does that matter?
Yep. Many older analog pedals are center-negative. If you plug a center-positive pedal into a center-negative output, it won't work or could even be damaged. Newer digital pedals are usually center-positive, so check your pedal specs.
Can I use a power supply with more current than my pedals need?
