Frequently Asked Questions

Infrared syncing is incredibly fast and reliable, but requires a direct line of sight between the receiver and transmitter – a minor inconvenience compared to the rock-solid performance.
While it can be used, the omnidirectional pickup pattern will capture a lot of stage noise; a cardioid mic would be preferable for dedicated monitoring applications.
The 120 dB dynamic range is excellent, providing ample headroom to handle loud sources and minimize unwanted background noise, but careful gain staging is still essential.
