Frequently Asked Questions

The Reveal 402s are generally considered a bit more forgiving and 'musical' than the HS5s, with a slightly smoother high-end. Both are accurate, but the Tannoy offers a more pleasant listening experience for extended sessions.
The included stands are well-made and handle the 5.2 kg monitors easily, but I wouldn't recommend exceeding their 10 kg load capacity. They're fine for most nearfield monitor applications, but heavier speakers might benefit from more robust stands.
The EQ is fairly basic, offering limited high and low frequency adjustments. It's useful for minor room correction, but don't expect it to be a substitute for a full-fledged EQ plugin.
