Frequently Asked Questions

The Forty Sixty holds its own; it's a little less clinical than Yamaha, with a slightly warmer character, but not quite as refined as some higher-end KRK models.
The 'Hype' preset definitely skews towards a more consumer-friendly sound; I’d stick to 'Flat' or 'Custom' for serious mixing work.
While they can be used in a treated room, the DSP EQ will be most beneficial in less-than-ideal acoustic environments to compensate for reflections.
