The 8331 APs are seriously impressive – small but mighty. They're perfect for nearfield monitoring where accuracy and detail are paramount, like mixing and mastering in smaller rooms or for critical audio analysis. The coaxial design creates a really focused stereo image, and the room correction is genuinely useful, but you'll want to invest in the GLM kit to unlock its full potential.

Frequently Asked Questions

The coaxial design minimizes phase issues and creates a more focused and stable stereo image, especially noticeable in smaller, less-than-ideal acoustic environments.
AES/EBU allows for a direct digital connection, minimizing noise and maximizing signal quality, particularly useful in professional recording and mastering setups.
While the SAM DSP helps, these monitors perform best with some acoustic treatment; they'll still reveal room issues, but the DSP mitigates some of the worst effects.
