Between September 30 and October 23, two big names in live and studio gear raised prices at Thomann across whole product lines, and a third cut. Allen & Heath made 33 increases and no cuts, in several steps through the month. Universal Audio raised its Apollo Gen 2 interfaces and microphones on October 2. Yamaha cut its MGX digital mixers twice.

The smallest CQ, up from €725 on October 2. #9 of 80 digital mixers.
Universal Audio: Apollo and mics up, pedals back to full price
On October 2, UA raised most of its Apollo Gen 2 interfaces and microphones, and by October 23, 22 UA prices stood at the highest we have recorded since August. The biggest rises were on the larger Apollo Gen 2 bundles: the Apollo x6 Gen2 AC Pro went from €2,389 to €2,789, the Apollo Twin X Quad Gen2 AC Pro from €1,529 to €1,769, and both Apollo Solo Heritage Editions from €539 to €599. UA's own microphones rose more: the SC-1 condenser by 26% to $561 and the SP-1 pencil condenser by 18%. Most of these prices are still below what Thomann charged in August 2025.
Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Quad Gen2 AC Pro, $1,972

Up 16% on October 2. The Apollo Twin X Duo Gen2 AC, the top Thunderbolt interface in our index, kept its price of $1,119 (€999). #2 of 17 thunderbolt audio interfaces.
UA's other 15 rises were mostly UAFX pedals returning to full price after a September sale: the Heavenly Plate went from €125 back to €174, the Golden Reverberator and Starlight Echo Station from €333 back to €387.
Yamaha MGX: up to 20% cheaper
| Model | August | Now |

Yamaha MGX12, $634
The white MGX12 is now €140 cheaper than in August. #1 of 80 digital mixers.
Questions
Should I buy an Allen & Heath mixer now or wait?
These are new list prices, not the end of a sale, so the September prices are unlikely to return as regular prices. A Black Friday promotion could still bring a temporary discount.
Are UA's prices really going up?
For Apollo interfaces and UA microphones, yes: October's prices are the highest since August, though mostly below August 2025. For UAFX pedals, no: they simply went back to the prices they had before a September sale.
How we measured. Euro prices from Thomann's partner feed, recorded every night. We compared each listing's price on September 30 and October 23, 2026, counting changes of at least 0.5%; August prices are from August 17, 2026. Dollar prices use the European Central Bank rate.
