ODD SMPLS

ODD SMPLS is a sample label with a deliberately unconventional name and philosophy — delivering odd, unusual, and unexpected sample content that challenges producers to move beyond predictable loop combinations. The brand focuses on experimental hip-hop, abstract beats, and left-field electronic music production content where strangeness is a virtue rather than a limitation. ODD SMPLS releases are aimed at producers inspired by artists like Flying Lotus, Madlib, and the broader Low End Theory and beat music scene that values musical weirdness. Their content includes deconstructed breaks, odd-time percussion patterns, and abstract melodic elements.
