About KLANG

KLANG is a boutique VST plugin developer with a distinctly Nordic aesthetic, creating synthesis and effects tools that lean toward the experimental, textural, and sound-design-forward end of the plugin spectrum. The brand's name — German and Scandinavian for 'sound' or 'tone' — reflects a philosophical commitment to sound itself as the primary value. KLANG plugins are known for their complex modulation capabilities, unconventional signal-flow designs, and the kind of sonic depth that rewards deep exploration. They have developed a following among experimental electronic musicians, modular synthesis enthusiasts who want software equivalents, and film composers seeking unusual textural tools. Distribution is primarily through their own website and specialist audio software retailers.
