Questions
What's the deal with column PA 'dispersion'?
Simply put, it's how wide the sound spreads. A narrow dispersion is great for focused sound, but can cause feedback issues. Wider dispersion covers more area, but can also be prone to feedback. Some systems let you adjust this.
Can I use this for recording vocals?
Absolutely, but don't expect studio-grade results. They're great for demos or capturing a live vocal feel. You'll still want to mic and process vocals properly for critical recordings.
What's the difference between a 'powered' and 'passive' column PA?
