The FetHead is a seriously impressive little preamp for the price. It's a great way to add some grit and warmth to dynamic and ribbon mics, particularly vocals or instruments needing a bit more character. If you're a singer-songwriter or do a lot of portable recording, this is a no-brainer upgrade.
