The Perform-V is a solid little box for singer-songwriters and gigging musicians who want some vocal enhancement on the fly. It’s surprisingly capable, especially with the Adaptive Tone app, but don’t expect studio-grade vocal processing – it's more about adding character and a bit of polish to your performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

The pitch correction is decent, but the harmonies sound best with a reasonably in-tune vocal; pushing it too hard reveals the artificiality.
While technically possible via an adapter, the integrated preamp is designed for XLR mics, and you'll lose some signal quality.
It's genuinely helpful for quickly dialing in a good starting point for vocal EQ, especially for those less familiar with complex EQ settings.
