It's not quite as full or warm as an SM58, lacking some of the mid-range presence. However, it's a surprisingly close approximation for the price and offers excellent rejection of background noise.
It's adequate for smaller stages or rehearsals, but the base isn't super heavy, so be mindful of bumps and vibrations. A heavier base would be preferable for more demanding live environments.
You'll likely need a preamp built into the interface, or a separate preamp, as the D108A requires more gain than many USB interfaces can provide directly.
