The 565 SD is a solid, workhorse vocal mic—a real budget-friendly alternative to the ubiquitous SM58. It's fantastic for public address, spoken word, and basic vocal reinforcement in schools, churches, or conference halls where feedback rejection is key. Don’t expect studio-grade nuance, but it’s reliable and gets the job done.

Frequently Asked Questions

It's similar, but the 565 SD often sounds a touch less detailed and slightly more mid-focused, lacking some of the SM58's warmth.
Unless you're using vintage or unusual preamps, the low impedance setting is generally preferred for most modern recording interfaces and mixers.
It's surprisingly well-dampened, but excessive handling can still introduce some rumble; a mic stand is always recommended.
