Synsonic Instruments

Synsonic Instruments is a small independent developer producing rhythm-machine and vintage drum synthesiser emulations, drawing inspiration from classic hardware like the CR-78, TR-808, and Korg rhythm units of the 1970s and 80s. The name blends 'synthesis' and 'sonic' into a brand identity firmly rooted in analogue-era percussion design. Their plugins typically model individual drum circuits with close attention to the characteristic tonal quirks of the original hardware — including the imperfect tuning drift and punch of analogue oscillators driving kick circuits. Synsonic targets producers who want tactile, characterful drum machines rather than clean sample replacements.
