Reason Studios
Reason Studios is the Swedish company behind Reason, one of the most distinctive and influential digital audio workstations, known for its unique virtual rack interface and long history in music production. Originally released in 2000, Reason has evolved into a full-featured DAW while retaining its iconic rack-based instrument and effects routing paradigm. Reason Studios has recently opened Reason Rack as a plugin that brings the iconic rack workflow into other DAWs. The company develops a range of virtual synthesizers and effects within the Reason ecosystem, including Thor, Europa, and Malström, each representing different synthesis paradigms.
