GUNSHIP

GUNSHIP is a British synthwave band formed in 2014 by Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway — the same team behind the band Fightstar — that has built a devoted following for their cinematic, neon-drenched 1980s retro-futurist sound and elaborately produced music videos featuring iconic guest vocalists. Beyond releasing music on their own label Horseback Holiday, GUNSHIP has extended into sample content and production resources that capture the analogue synthesiser textures, drum machine programming, and cinematic scope of their recordings. Their sample content is valued by the synthwave production community for its authentic aesthetic source. GUNSHIP is also notable for selling physical cassette tapes and VHS-aesthetic merchandise.
