Future Audio Workshop

Future Audio Workshop (FAW) is an audio software developer best known for SubLab, a powerful bass synthesizer specifically designed for creating the deep sub bass and 808 sounds central to trap, hip-hop, and bass music production. Founded with a focus on solving specific producer problems, FAW developed SubLab to give beatmakers direct control over the harmonic character and rumble of sub-bass frequencies in a way that generic synthesizers couldn't easily achieve. The plugin includes a sampler section for loading custom 808 WAV samples and a synthesis engine for sculpting the sub from scratch. FAW's Circle synthesizer is also a notable product, offering a hybrid synthesis approach for more melodic sound design. SubLab in particular has achieved widespread adoption in the modern trap and hip-hop production community.
