Questions about Benedetto
Are Benedetto guitars considered vintage instruments?
While not vintage in the traditional sense, Benedetto guitars are built to the specifications and quality of instruments from the 1950s and 60s, often commanding a similar level of respect.
Does Bob Benedetto personally build each instrument?
Bob Benedetto oversees all aspects of production and is heavily involved in the building process, though a skilled team of luthiers contributes to the construction of each guitar.
What is a 'floating' pickup and why is it significant?
A floating pickup is not directly mounted to the guitar top, allowing it to vibrate more freely and produce a more open, airy, and resonant tone characteristic of vintage jazz guitars.
