What's the deal with 'venting' shells?
Venting is a small hole drilled in the shell to relieve internal pressure, supposedly improving resonance. The effect is subtle, and often more marketing than functional difference, but some players swear by it. It's not a magic bullet, though.
Should I go for a pre-configured kit or custom shells?
