How to choose the best band PA sets
Power & Headroom
Enough juice to handle drums and vocals without clipping, especially for louder genres. Watch out for systems that sound fine at low volumes but fall apart when you need the headroom. A good rule of thumb is at least 1000W total, split between mains and subs.

Questions
What's the difference between a 'powered' and 'passive' PA?
Powered speakers have built-in amplifiers, making setup easier. Passive speakers require separate amplifiers, which adds cost and complexity but can offer more power flexibility.
How much power do I really need?
It depends on your venue size and how loud you play. For small bars, 1000-1500W total might suffice. Larger venues or louder bands will need more - 2000W+.
What about line arrays?
