The Pearly Gates humbucker is essentially a variation on the PAF: to make the Texas attitude of Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top rougher, the Pearly Gates offers a little more "edge". It sounds snappy in comparison to the '59 and has more output and sustain. A great classic for the bridge position. For an absolutely authentic look, this pickup also comes in "zebra", with one coil in black, the other cream-coloured!
