The SH-13 is a powerhouse pickup built for that modern, aggressive metal tone. It’s got the searing highs and crushing lows Dimebag Darrell was known for, and it'll cut through any mix. If you’re chasing a high-gain, high-impact sound, this is a seriously good option.

Frequently Asked Questions

EMGs are active, so they’ll be quieter and have a more compressed sound; the SH-13 is passive, offering more dynamic range and a raw, natural feel.
It’s definitely on the aggressive side, but the steel blades help tame some of the high-end; proper EQ and amp settings can dial it back if needed.
While designed for lead, the SH-13’s tight low-end makes it usable for rhythm, but it’s really dialed in for those aggressive, chugging riffs.
