Morado is denser and slightly harder than rosewood, offering a snappier feel and a slightly brighter, more articulate tone. It’s a matter of preference, but many find it provides excellent clarity.
The Soapbar humbuckers are well-shielded and relatively quiet, but like any active pickups, they can exhibit some inherent hum. A noise gate isn’t usually necessary, but can be helpful in very quiet recording environments.
