Frequently Asked Questions

The ATH-M50x offers noticeably better isolation due to its more complete seal. The NTH-50s are decent, but bleed-through is more of a factor in louder environments.
They're more suited for tracking and monitoring than critical mixing. While the frequency response is fairly neutral, the lack of ultimate isolation and a 'reference' sound means you might want something more precise for mastering.
It’s a nice touch for secure connections and preventing accidental disconnections. I've found it to be reliable, but it's an additional potential point of failure compared to a standard plug.
