Product Description

Paiste 17" Signature Full Crash, 17" Crash Cymbal

En route to the optimal cymbal sound, a special Paiste sound alloy from patented bronze was developed for the Signature Series. The results are cymbals that have been gaining recognition since their introduction in 1989, and have proven themselves both in the studio and live. The sound has a high degree of expressiveness and can be simultaneously described as delicate, transparent, warm and yet vivid.

• Signature Full Crash
• A middle-weight
• versatile cymbal with a 'corpulant' sound
• bright
• full crash
• and medium sustain
PROS
• • Excellent tonal complexity – layered highs and warm lows.
• • Paiste’s signature bronze alloy delivers a uniquely expressive sound.
• • Versatile enough for various genres, from jazz to rock.
• • Well-latted construction ensures durability and consistent response.
CONS
• • The 'full' designation can lead to a slightly muddy low-end in dense mixes.
• • Premium-priced, making it a significant investment for many drummers.
• • Sustain, while medium, might be shorter than some prefer for larger venues.
