If you are looking for a vintage Strat-Sound, but like it a bit more powerful, is this set of 3 best-served. Alnico 5 magnets with staggered pole pieces produce the slightly richer yet clear sound. Thanks to the phase-reversed mid-pickup, the centre positions (2 + 4) are free of humming.
