The Lizard Queen is a quirky, fun fuzz that nails a specific vibe – think proto-metal meets vintage synth. It’s a great choice for players wanting a unique, character-driven fuzz sound, especially those into heavier, more experimental tones. The Balance control is key to taming the octave and making it usable in a wider range of contexts.

Frequently Asked Questions

It blends the original signal with the octave-fuzz, allowing you to dial back the octave for a more subtle fuzz or push it for a full-on, chaotic sound.
Like most octave fuzzes, it can be a bit noisy at higher gain settings, but it's generally manageable. It’s less aggressive and more controllable than some of the older, more extreme EHX octave pedals.
It can work with single-coils, but be mindful of the octave setting – too much can definitely get muddy. Lowering the octave and using the Balance control strategically is key to getting a good tone with brighter pickups.
