DiMarzio DP549, Ultra J-Style Pickup SetDiMarzio was the first company to produce replacement pickups for electric guitars and basses and has been able to maintain its position since the early 70s through a successful mixture of tradition and innovation.
Of course, DiMarzio also has pickups for today's widely used 5 string bass guitars in its catalogue. The requirements are, of course, special, as the additional low B string must be big-sounding without becoming muddy
If you’re keen for the Jazz bass sound but want it louder and with more treble the J Ultra will provide you exactly that: the sound is rich, funky and somewhat bigger, the sound stays precise also at the lowest frequencies!
