This San Dimas is a seriously fun shred machine. The high-output pickups and Floyd Rose trem are perfect for modern rock and metal, but the classic pickup pairing also handles blues and heavier rhythm work surprisingly well. It’s a premium-priced instrument that delivers a lot of performance for the money, especially if you're looking for a versatile, comfortable, and aggressive playing experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

The coil split adds a surprising amount of single-coil character, opening up clean tones and allowing for more nuanced rhythm playing, though the JB retains a distinct edge.
It's a bit more involved than a traditional tremolo, but there are tons of online resources; a professional setup is recommended initially for optimal performance.
Bolt-on necks generally have a slightly snappier attack and a bit less inherent warmth than set-necks; however, the overall construction and woods compensate well.
