The MX400 is a seriously neat little mixer – honestly, it’s a bit of a miracle at this price point. It's perfect for keyboardists needing to expand their mixer's channel count or for anyone wanting a basic line mixer for a small podcast or simple audio setup. Just don't expect miracles – it's a basic tool, but it does the job surprisingly well.

Product Description

Behringer MX400, 4-Channel Line Mixer

Despite its ultra-compact size, the MICROMIX MX400 4-channel line mixer is really big on features! Providing the highest sonic quality at all output levels vs. the competition, the MX400 features ultra low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers for outstanding audio performance – the same chips as the ones found in its much bigger mixers. Use the MX400 as a sub-mixer for your mixer: If you are running short on available channels on your “big” mixer and need to add 3 more keyboards to your mix, just connect them to the MX400, dial-in the mix – and connect MX400’s output to a single input on your main mixer. This way you have the opportunity to mix your keyboard with the MX400, without immediately occupying several valuable mixer channels.

  • Compact 4-channel line mixer
  • Separate volume control for each channel
  • Low noise 4580 operational amplifier

  • Weight: 190 g

Frequently Asked Questions

The 4580 op-amps help keep noise down, but it’s still a budget mixer, so don’t expect pristine silence in noisy environments.
No, the MX400 lacks phantom power, so you’ll need dynamic mics or those that require external power.
While it's compact, the plastic construction makes it less than ideal for the rigors of regular stage use – it’s better suited for studio or home use.
