About Tim Exile

Tim Exile is a British electronic musician, performer, and software developer best known for building the Flow Machine — a radical, performance-oriented live electronic instrument developed in collaboration with Native Instruments. Exile pioneered a style of live looping and real-time composition that blurs the line between music performance and DJing, and his software tools reflect that philosophy of spontaneous creative interaction. His work with Native Instruments on The Finger and other Reaktor-based instruments made him a cult figure in the experimental electronic music community. Beyond his plugin work, he is the founder of Endlesss, a social music-making platform.
